Hello everyone! My hubby got me watching some vlogs and I noticed this bracelet that one of the ladies sometimes wears. I tried asking about it on their FB page, but they are really popular and are traveling a lot, so who knows if I hear back.
I love the way it looks and would love to be able to make sonething similar. Sorry theses aren't the best pictures, I snagged them off their FB site and zoomed in.

It's hard for me to see the bracelet, but it looks to me like a leather strap base, with beads sewn in an X pattern with some thicker cord of some kind (? sinew, hemp?) either over a thinner dark piece of leather cord, or with smaller black beads alternating with the lighter beads?

I don't know why I never considered it being sewn onto something.

EDIT: I'm wondering if I could use this YouTube tutorial, but add bigger beads on the top during the last steps:
