I made this small shrine for a friend.  The base is a mini crate I stained.
Hedwig and the books are made from clay.  Since that was the majority of my time I decided to put this in the polymer clay forum.
Each feather was made individually.  It seemed like a good idea before I started!  Cheesy

Oh, each feather individually made? I can see how you'd start second guessing that decision by halfway through but it was worth it in the end. It's a great central highlight to a cool themed box. Nicely done!

there is something about the stark whiteness of Hedwig in the middle of all other colors in this piece that works so nicely.
