The Dutch brand "Scheepjes" organized a CAL in 2016 which I loved.

I bought a luxury kit with Merino wool and tackled all the squares, yay for that! Some of the squares were done over and over, not getting it right, but in the end I am happy with my pretty blanket!

I am totally into granny or square blankets now, rows seems not to work for me. It isn't perfect but that is good, I am not perfect.  Smiley

Some more pics, just 'cause I love my blanket!

Eep, please ignore the mess next to my bed

I've been sleeping under my pretty blanket all winter and I love how soft it is. So proud of my first ever huge crochet project!  Cool

Pattern available here: FOR FREE! http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/last-dance-on-the-beach-scheepjes-cal-2016

Thanks for looking!

Thanks all for your lovely comments!  Cheesy

I bought a kit and could choose 3 colour combinations: Dancing under the starts with purple, red and such. Dancing in the rain with grey and blues. Dancing in the sea with greens and blues, which is what I chose.  The original border would be a more beige colour but I didn't like that, I could switch that colour for the off white I used now.
It was the first time I bought such expensive yarn, but it sooooo soft and I really love it!

AIMR, yes Scheepjes has a CAL going on now, that is going to be a wrap or some use it as a table runner. I like the idea of crochet and embroider, but I don't use table runners and I don't want another scarf or wrap.

I've seen a CAL from Garnstudio Drops design and maybe I will join that one. I will have a look for the link and share it with you Here it is: Spring Lane I've set the preferences to English, but it is available in other languages too. Also free pattern.  Smiley

I've been missing you lovelies, it was about time I came back and share some good Craftster love with you!!  Kiss

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
