My boyfriend says if I bring one more small kitchen appliance home he will leave me. I'll miss him.

*snort*

I haven't done any fermenting other than saurkraut once that I was too scared to try and ended up throwing away! Sad Do you have an easy way to do it?

Cabbage can be a tricky one to ferment, I don't usually have success with it unless I'm doing a quick 4 day batch with an airlock and I pound the heck out of the shreds first. Still, PU it is so smelly you think it's gone off anyhow.

I'll get out my jar and make a batch of something and take process pics to post to show you how easy it is. With the right tools it's nearly fool proof (you only need a plastic mason jar lid, a rubber grommet, and an airlock like for brewing your own wine, cost a couple bucks at most, you won't have to break up with anybody Wink ).

Pickled beets are my favorite! Definitely trying this with my Instant Pot soon. It's busy making bone broth again as I type this Smiley

Oh, I really have to start trying refrigerator canning. These are so pretty, and I bet so tasty! Thanks for sharing how to make them!
