I made this by free-handing it based on a skirt I saw on pinterest-just one of your typical steampunk/classic lolita type things.
The material is actually old curtains so its nice and solid, though some of it was annoying to sew through.

You cant see it, but the straps cros slightly in the back to land in the middle. I first made the mistake of not trying it on to place the straps and just thinking they would be the same distance from the seam on the front and back, not true.
I also added two pieces of boning at the laces because it was wrinkling from being pulled. It's to my measurements and is still quite flexible and comfortable despite the boning and fabric. It can be a little annoying to get on however, as there is no zipper or anything, just the laced bit.

The petticoat I made recently-ruffles on a circle skirt, and the cuffs are just faux fur trimmed rectangles of the curtain fabric with a piece of lace. It was freezing out, hence the clenched fists haha. There alre like birds and flowers on the print. and I didnt realize till too late that the birds are upside dwon on the front hehe, but it's hard to notice.

and there's a bonus anime-y shot for ya

I suppose I should have put this on clothing> completed projects. A mod can move it if they wish?

Fun! You sure put a lot of effort into this. Nice touch, adding the boning in the front. It looks nice!

This outfit is fabulous! You did an amazing job with all the details on the skirt and matching cuffs. I totally dig it! Great job, and thanks for sharing!
