Thanks ladies Smiley.

I drafted a pattern today and stitched it up. It was not simple but because I am schooled in pattern drafteing it helped the whole process make MUCH more sense. When I get it perfect, I'll share it in a post here. It's good. It's really good Wink.

Thanks guys Smiley. I ordered a pattern that has 5 different feathers so I'm going to make more of them. I really like the featheriness of this style but the blockier version is very beautiful as well. Artmomto5 made this in the recent mini quilt swap, take a peek at how pretty it is:

Thank you! My mom is here from Florida for my teen's 16th bday and she brought the pattern I ordered. I am going to have to go on a paper pieced feather stitching jag I think. I am really loving that motif, they are all so beautiful and varied.
