Hey all, it's been a while since I actually painted anything. I made this for whatthepuck in the OTT swap. This canvas is 4in x4in.

It is beautiful! And a kitty I might not wanna mess with, as per the intense look and fangs.
question. I am clueless about (and intimidated by) acrylics. How do you get the subtle change between greys, as the inner ears ascend? It is just brushwork? What kind of brush if so?

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

The shading is great and those teeth make the piece.

It's kinda hard to explain, mostly I just work when the paint is still wet and spread it out with my brush until the gradient is right. I don't use the paint brush how you usually would, instead I just push it around.

Aw cute kitty in a slightly forboding way Smiley  I'm always so impressed when people can paint so tiny and you did awesome blending too!
