I figured it was about time I pushed my limits with felting again. I've never made a needle felting over 4inches. So I decided to make a BIG needle felting.
I've been enjoying pokemon sun and moon lately and decided to make a pokemon. Cosmog was both fun and simple looking.... Not as simple to make as he looks Tongue but I did it! He's over 8 inches tall. Which yes is small to some, but I doubled my biggest so I'm happy Smiley

I also added wires in his antenna parts so they can be posed different ways.

Holy cow! This is such an amazing, nerdy felted sculpture!! I'm so used to more blended natural/realistic looking sculptures that I didn't really ever think about how well a cute cartoony face could look on a felted sculpture. And he looks spot on for Cosmog!! I need to go finish Pokemon Sun now ;P I think 8" is my standard felted sculpture size, but I've done everything from just a couple inches to cat-sized. This looks like a great size for the amount of detail you got into it.

Brilliant work! I hope we see more from you soon!

Oh my goodness that is just too freaking adorable for words!! You did such an amazing job!  Pretty sure that cosmog was one of my favorites when I played pokemon moon and you did him justice Smiley

Keep up the great work!! <3

Oh wow, thanks you guys! I this this is the best set of reactions I've ever gotten from one of my needle felted creations <3

I think my cosmog being called official looking is the best thing ever Smiley

I'd love to make more but it will have to wait until I can afford more of the wool to do so. I have plans... So many plans! Haha.
