Hey, guys! Long time, no craft. I took on PTA president of my kid's school in September and I have had NO TIME for myself or anything crafty since then. What a thankless job. I resigned last week. First, I drank champagne in the tub and then I hightailed it over to JoAnn's to buy some fabric and make something. I fell in love with the striped dish towel looking fabric first and decided I wanted to make some Valentines ornaments for the tree I couldn't bear to take down after Christmas.

They were super easy - I cut out a heart template from paper and then cut a ton of fabric hearts. Stitched them together with embroidery thread and filled them with a tiny bit of polyfill.

What do you think?

Eep I love this! I need a driftwood tree! Hmm, the boyfriend's folks live at the coast, maybe I can ask them to keep an eye out for me!

Congrats on your resignation and I wish you much happy crafting in your near future! Smiley

These look so lovely on the driftwood tree! I love the rustic combo. All the fabric choices look great too.
