I saw this on pinterest and had to give it a try. Teacups and the center plate are all from Goodwill. I used a foam wreath base and two industrial glues to attach the cups. I decided to add some greenery and hung with wire using a screw. It is a bit heavy so I hung it in a place with low traffic.

That's pretty sweet!  I've never seen a wreath made out of cups before and it looks absolutely fabulous (and your floral additions definitely enhance and complement the cups).  This would be the perfect Unbirthday Gift for the Mad Hatter/March Hare too. Cheesy

I can't have anything like this because I, or one of the cats, would surely accidentally knock it down and it would shatter everywhere and make a terrific mess.

But Patraw, if that happened, then you'd have enough tea glass shards to make a beautiful mosaic!  Cheesy Wink Grin

this looks so awesome.
I would love to know the exact type of glue, as I have not had success using any type of known glue on foams.
I also love how they nestle, unlike most wreath creations, thus how one gentle seafoam green shines a bit into the one next to it.

I used two glues. Initially I used a lot of E6000, which is actually not recommended for Styrofoam but the thick glue held up the cups in that cascading pattern.

Still I worried it would not hold up, so I went to Ace Hardware and bought a glue that explicitly said it worked on Styrofoam and ceramics. I then used this second glue to tighten up loose spots before the E6000 had dried. I also used a paint brush and spread this second Styrofoam glue around the cups.

I let it all dry for a 36 hours and it seemed pretty solid. The E6000 probably would have held but better safe than sorry.
