Owl Obsession - I love some of these cute little blankets but hate blocking, hate piecing.  Some of the patterns I find are confusing and some of the stitches are hard to wrap my mind around. You gals that can and do have my utmost respect.  Crocheted using 5mm hook and Red Heart Comfort yarn. 36" long  by 36" wide. Pattern was fairly easy to follow. I elected to NOT add the half octagons. Pattern by TheHatandI; which can be found here:

Very cute! I have that pattern and have made several of the owls, but never turned them into blankets. Instead, I made a couple of small purses and some pot holders! Maybe one day I'll get back to it and make the whole blanket . . . yours came out really cute!
