Is it a big attic?
Will you have more room, to make it exactly like you want it to be?

It is not any larger than the space I have now and the ceilings are slanted so I will have to use the lower more shallow book cases that he has in there while he will have the tall ones in the studio. I have been planning to downsize anyhow and have dragged lots of bins into the living room to sort and plan. I don't use so much of what I have and my interest in a few crafts has waned. I don't mind letting some things go and keeping the stuff I really love and enjoy.
I am excited about the natural light, truly. I feel like a troll in that basement sometimes, lol.

Oh mercy. So my moving the house around plans are on semi-hold while we have the basement tested for radon gas. I thought we should be sure there isn't any before we consign the teenager to having his bedroom down there. Since I had already gotten started my craft room will now temporarily inhabit the spare bedroom which is quite a bit smaller. I was downsizing anyhow but this is going to be a tight squeeze no matter how I cut it. I'll post pics in a bit, we've got 2 desks to move before it will be even a little bit usable. Please wish me luck!

Downsizing, what's that? LOL
I hope your teenager can still have the basement.
