Recently our teen man/boy decided he would rather have his rooms in the basement instead of the attic. Now my crafting room is up there which is very nice because there is natural light but that makes for difficulty taking good photos :/.
This is the larger room where guests also stay.

The desk has a pull out extension that makes a handy spot for gluing or paint. Beneath is a shelf with paper, books, etc.

Beads, paper, glue, paint, books, scissors, works in progress, some of my daughter's things.

This room has a closet stuffed with various bins of supplies. I keep the ikea folding couch bed upright for sitting, the kids will occasionally come to this room to watch a video with me while I work, it is quite cosy

This smaller room is for sewing. The long narrow table is a 2 seater desk with shallow drawers full of scissors, pins, etc. The wood shelf is my ironing surface. Behind the door are bins of ribbon, scraps, etc.

In this corner are empty wooden trunks, I just like them.

Under the cutting table are bins of fabric and other junk.

Note the rooms have been ruthlessly tidied for DAYS so I could take photos that wouldn't shame me forever, lol.

You did a great job on those rooms!
Very organized, lots of supplies, yet still lots of space left.

Wow - huge difference from what you had before, but it looks great.  Love your desk space in the window, and that the kids can be there with you!

Nice place to craft and be with the family!  I liked your basement space but this definitely is a more cheerful place to work with the light.  Is that where I will be staying when I visit?  I would gladly stay there as long as you don't mind sharing some supplies...ha ha ha
