What are you doing with all those pies?

Today I drafted a paper pieced quilt block pattern and stitched it up. I'm working on getting it perfecto then I'll post it.

Honestly, I have no idea what I'll do with them, I just like trying out new patterns! I'll feature them on my Pumpkin All The Things 2017 countdown, then...  give them away probably!

Smeddley, it would be cool to see you try different flavors of pies!  Like make a blueberry one, a cherry one, an apple one, etc...

I am loving the pies....I can definitely see your tweaks to the pattern, Smeddley. Different flavors would be cool, too!

I had a much more successful pattern transfer attempt last night. I think I can tweak anything I'm not happy with when stitching.

I would like to pick up a smaller hoop and then I'll start working on it. I'm headed north for a ski trip this weekend, so I'll be sure to bring this project with me for daily crafting. Smiley I might have been bitten by the embroidery bug.

Abbeeroad that class looks really neat! Would it be crazy to start a craftalong just for learning hand lettering?  Tongue
It was cool seeing the evolution of your rebel pattern, I think it looks great!

Smeddley that scarf is beautiful! And I love all the little pies - I can just picture them as part of a fall cornucopia-type centerpiece, or mantle arrangement.

Thing 14 was lasagna dinner, much requested by my partner.

Thing 15 and 16 was doing a few more inches of knitting, and then finishing my hat!

I'm so pleased with it that I might even knit something else before another couple years go by.

Mmm, lasagne. I am not allowed to eat carbs anymore, I miss pasta Sad.
I'm getting a kitty cap! And I won't have to learn how to knit first, that's the best part! Yours is great Smiley.

I baked shortbread today but it's a cheat since I have a lot of prepped cookie dough in the freezer.
I've been working on tweaking a pattern I'm drafting, it's a lot harder than I remember from school. Maybe because it's teeny weeny little pieces instead of a dress, ha ha. I won't count it but I will count the photo box I made and the spatter box for keeping my craft room clean of paint. I'll put those photos in my list post.

Awesome hat!! I have a request in for one as well. Wink Would have been much cooler if I could have made my own.

Last night was mandala night in my house...I'm working on a stamp and kiddo is working on a piece for an upcoming art show.

I was just looking through people's masterposts and saw some things I've been missing by not checking those often. kbrison, the quilted bookmarks look really cool!

Thing 17 today: coloring a postcard from Johanna Basford's Enchanted Forest booklet. Every page in that thing is SO TINY and my pencil sharper is not up to the task. I love the designs but they give me hand cramps.

Grin Acadian, I haven't posted any of the bookmarks yet. I think what you were admiring is the paper pieced mini quilt, aka swap project, I made for cmarion3. But thanks!

Made a big light box for taking pics in, will get a photo of it when the teen stops using it to shoot his bionicle creations, lol.
