I may or may not have fallen prey to Facebook videos of sweets that you can make for Christmas gifts. :x I made salted maple caramels and almond coconut peppermint patties. The salted maple caramel recipe I have is no longer available on the source website, but you can find the peppermint patty recipe here: http://fitfoodiefinds.com/2013/12/vegan-peppermint-patties/



I also made my own labels for both the caramels and the peppermint patties, which you can find on this blog entry: http://www.appledainty.com/food/baking/holiday-sweets/ the links to the labels are down near the bottom. Cheesy





My Dad loved his peppermint patties, and my husband brought the caramels to work where they were apparently very popular. I added walnuts to some of the caramels and dipped them in dark chocolate as well; those were my husband's favorites.
