These One Bowl Spiced Gingerbread Muffins were really good.  I tried the recipe because it only used one bowl and I am lazy   Cheesy

Of course I had to alter the recipe a bit,  I rarely make a recipe as is.
While I love ginger I am not a big fan of nutmeg or clove so I almost always cut back or cut out those ingredients.

Here are my changes to the ingredient list
-   Instead of mashed banana I used canned pumpkin
-   No orange zest
-   No cloves
-   Used 2 tsp cinnamon
-   1/8 tsp nutmeg.

I took these to work and they were devoured.

and with maple glaze

Those look absolutely delicious. The icing looks like just enough extra sweetness without being crazy sugary like frosting. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Smiley

very slightly.  Only one person could tell there was pumpkin in them.  You mostly taste the ginger.

It's still a good combo I'm just not a fan of overwhelming pumpkin myself!
