My sister & her friend saw this several years ago, and were debating about it. They eventually decided that there was no way it could ever work. Then they said there aren't that many ingredients; let's give it a try. So they did, and it worked quite well. (And, they din't have 7 or 8 dozen cookies to bake and have eaten!)

So, this morning, due to a sudden, inexplicable urge for PB cookies, I also decided to give the "easy-peasy" recipe a try. It worked quite well.

The best part, it is supposed to only make 2 dozen. I've had 1/4 of the end result, and have had my craving satisfied.

1 C. {name brand} Peanut Butter
1 C. Sugar
1 egg.

Preheat oven to 325*F. Get out Cookie Sheet.
Mix all 3 ingredients well.
Form into 24 dough balls. Squish with fork.
Bake 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned.
Cool on pan on rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and continue cooling.

They are quick and easy. The best part is, when you no longer have a large family to bake for, there's only 2 dozen.
