So I was going to make this gingerbread house for fun and I happened to check Craftster and look a gingerbread house contest!! Okay so this is my first gingerbread house that is all homemade. Which is weird since I have made gingerbread cookies for the last few years. So I decided to get it all finished and I made this nice mini gingerbread house!

Aww, it's so cute!  I love the little open door with doorknob!

Okay so the house is 4 inches deep by 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall. So not super mini but the pattern I had for the house said to enlarge by 200% and I was like no thanks I will make little house. I glade you guys like it!! I had fun making it. I think it has been a good 4 to 6 years since I last decorated a gingerbread house and that was one of those kits so I had fun with this.

Woo, that would have been some big house if you'd enlarged it that much! It's perfect at this size. I like the open door too, ingenious!
