@Smmarrt I noticed the ink transfer on glossy pages too by accident! It was quite a happy accident as I love how it looks!

I love the stenciled-over prints...will try that.

I can't seem to get the image transfers to work when I try - I'm using high contrast images from magazines....oh, well I'll keep trying.

Still making alcohol ink prints - love them. Pictures soon.

Wulf- Curry's just started carrying the Uni Posca markers.  I just saw a display there the other day.

CLM - just an FYI, Deserres has dropped their free shipping to >$39.  Also, if they follow the schedule they have the last few years, there should be a bigger sale coming up about May.

Yay, Onyxnox! Thanks for the Curry's tip! I've started worrying about what I was going to do when my one good Posca marker runs dry. Grin

Here is one of the gel prints done with alcohol inks.

I squirt 2 colors first, brayer it to cover gel plate, then lay a stencil on top, and add a few more colors in spots. Let that dry - about 10 - 20 minutes, depending on how much ink you use and where you live.

Remove stencil and let dry some more - make sure there are no puddles that aren't dry. When it is all dry, roll a layer of acrylic paint and pull the print.

Here is a detail shot:

I have another design drying - will post pics if it looks good.

What a cool technique!  Your results are beautiful...I love how everything blends but is still distinct...the stencil leaves such a nice impression of the flowers...

Awesome technique smmarrt, I did some prints recently I need to share too!! I realized one of my mixed media sketchbooks was the same size as one of my gelli plates so Ive been doing prints on each page. Also brayer off into another altered journal (first 2 pics) and last pic I did some address label prints!

They are so deliciously bright. Couldn't I just swap with you excellent gelli printers instead of making such a mess of it myself? Sigh.
There must be something I'm as good at as you are at this...
