I baked bread too, forgot to add salt so it over rose like crazy, lol.
Awesome possum is such a funny saying Cheesy. Those colours are cute together too.

Dinner is coming... I love that!  Your tumbler looks great, too Lindy!  As does the bread!

And the awesome possum hat - too funny! Glad it fits better. Nothing more frustrating than working so hard on something and having it not pan out.

I finally finished my baby blanket! I used two strands of this cotton yarn and I love the way it turned out.

January Challenge!

What I'm letting go of - dolls.  I bought some dolls (Liv dolls, I think) when my friend started customizing dolls, and I was going to try it, and I completely lost steam.  And the chances of me ever going back to them... pretty low.  I have enough other things I want to do!

What I tried - lucet!  I have a fascination with older techniques, and I'd seen the lucet before and wanted to try it.  Of course, there was bad weather when I decided I needed to try it THAT DAY, so I looked at DIY lucets on the internet and saw one made of clay... which I had!

So I tried it, and... maybe the wood one from the store would work better, but... I actually found I really preferred doing it on my hand (minus the yarn burn).  And I found it worked for dog toys on strips of fleece!

Here's the first crop of dog toys, four are box-braid double-looped ends, one is just a straight box braid, one is a straight lucet braid, and the other is a looped lucet braid with knots tied in the center to form two loops.

Dog approved!
