I'm running out of time for all the last minute things that still need doing, ack! The kids need some way to wrap a bunch of flattish ornament gifts they've made. I picked up a 180 page xmas scrap booking paper pad at Michael's for 70% off the other day so tore out a bunch of pages and whipped up these little envelops. They are certainly not fancy but they'll do the trick!

This one is my fave Wink.

First I folded up the paper, overlapping the sides for a centre back seam. Trim a bit for a bottom and top flap. You could certainly do a more perfect job of this if you wanted to, use a ruler to measure and mark, a cutter for straight lines, corner rounder. For this though I really needed FAST! I folded and cut 3-4 sheets at a time even  Shocked. There's some useful paper left over, I'll get to that in a bit...

Tape 'er up.

That's pretty much it except for the left over bits which actually make sweet mini-envelops so double extra plus bonus good! I refolded & trimmed those to make the flaps align a bit better.

These 2 stacks took me under an hour to make. I don't think I'll ever buy an envelop again!

I could have saved all the cut off strips to make collage cards ala kbrison but frankly the work space was so incredibly messy by the time I was done that I brushed all that into the recycle bin and got on with dinner. next time though, I nearly cried to toss out all that colourful beautiful scrap, wah!
