This tutorial will show you how to make your own Ribbon Christmas Bow!

To start, you will need the following Items:

Cut 9 strips of ribbon, following the lengths shown, or if you want to try new sizes, change lengths.

Begin by folding the first strip in half, make crease to find center, and drop glue in center

Fold one end to the middle, creating a loop.

Repeat this step for the other end. You will have two loops glued to the center at this point.

You will do this for 8 of the longer strips of ribbon.

Now you will begin gluing the 4 large ribbon loops together, starting by making a cross through the center

Glue the next two strips, rotating to fill in the gaps.

Do this same step with the four smaller strips.

When this is done, you will glue the smaller stack on top of the larger.

Last you will glue the smallest remaining strip to form a loop, then place and glue on top.

In the end, you will have a beautiful ribbon bow that can be used for any occasion! Full video here: https://www.theribbonretreat.com/Catalog/how-to-make-a-christmas-ribbon-gift-bow.aspx

This is so much easier than trying to make a bow out of a continuous strip of ribbon!

But what is the lighter used for?

to light your spliff, celebrating a job well done?
or maybe to sear the ends of the ribbon so it doesn't ravel.

I've done this before, but with magazines/wrapping paper. (instead of hot glue, used tape)

I love the ribbon. So pretty.
