These are probably my absolute favorite things I've ever made! It all started a couple years ago when I found one of the Baileys Face Sugar containers at a thrift store. They are kinda creepy with their very casual winking face and smile. I thought a brain sticking out would creep it up even more, but i had no idea how to do it so i put it on the back burner until earlier this year. I found the brain fabric online and got a swatch, which ended up being the perfect amount i needed! I decided in october that I wanted to make a bunch more and got all the supplies but I'm just now finally getting around to it!

For the pins I used black craft silicone on regular sewing pins. (This stuff is make just like those weird squishy body jewelry balls, popular in the early aughts.)

What do you think?!

I LOVE THESE! That is a BRILLIANT reuse/upcycle of those cups which seem to be at all the thrift shops all the time. The pins are perfect, too.

NAILED IT. Er... PINNED IT!

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

I'm surprised that there is that many around!   Cool  Did they come as an extra with something, or like part of a gift set, originally?

I think they may come as a set. I know there is also a teapot, cream and sugar containers. The silver ones I believe were sold for fundraiser or were a gift for donating to a hospital.
