I made this for my little Chihuahua mix. She was actually very patient with my trying it on her to get the right fit.

The pattern is Cabled Dog Sweater from A Crocheted Simplicity.  It was a tiny bit tricky at first, but once I figured out the pattern it was really simple to memorize and go.

What a pretty sweater! I've never tried crochet cables but this project seems like a good way to practice. Your pup looks so toasty!

Thanks. Cables aren't hard, though they can sometimes be a bit confusing. You have to do a couple of rows before it starts to look like a cable. if you can do front post and back post crochet you can make cables.
