Here are 2 of my recently completed blankets.  Both were done as part of CALs over the last couple months and will be Christmas gifts.  I'm still a relatively new crocheter (about 18 months) so I learned a lot doing these two blankets (standing stitches, front/back post stitches, surface stitches, etc).  I'm really happy with how they both turned out.  Smiley

This one is called Demelza

And this is the Sunshine Owl

There are more pictures/details on my Ravelry project pages.  Thanks for looking!

Holy moly those are unbelievable. Wow. Post close-ups if you've got 'em? That's a lot of detailed yarn work. Wow.

Both are FANTASTIC!  I can't decide which I love more.  Definitely adding the patterns to my Ravelry queue.  Rocks!

Thanks for the kind words, ladies!  I was a bit nervous about the colors for the first one but I'm really happy now that it's done.   The first one will be a Christmas gift for my mom and the owl will be for my niece Smiley
