Beware the power of my Sonic Seam Ripper!

One of my former students called me last week, looking to have a necklace and earrings made for her aunt, who loves to quilt.  Jessi wanted something eclectic for the pendant, and earrings that were more than just charms on earwires, but not too big either.  Since I had free rein in terms of everything else, I took my inspiration from Jessi herself, who is a bit of a rockstar.  I went with gunmetal chain and findings, and lots of Swarovski crystal in shades of black, grey, purple, and clear.  I'm really thrilled with how the set came out, and had a really hard time shipping them off.

The pendant features a thimble, quilt square, rotary cutter, bobbin, sewing machine, and safety pin, and a large acrylic gem.

The earrings feature 6mm Swarovski crystals, and charms that feature thimbles and threaded needles.
