Today I started painting this horse painting. It's not fully finished as I'll still probably make minor adjustments as I see it over the next few days.


This is the beginning of the painting  with the roughed in background and sketched in horse. It was painted in acrylic.

This is beautiful, and I honestly like the background almost as much as the horse. It gives it such atmosphere and is entirely in keeping with the slightly unreal quality of the drawing.
