Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

I love how glass ornaments glimmer in trees.  But I have had dogs for a long time - all around the 50-60 lb range, and who seem to forget they have waggy tales, and one who decided she wanted to hug the tree on year - so glass ornaments hang from the curtain rods or fixtures now.  But beaded ones work on the tree, and it has been awhile since I did a beaded one.  I did not realize how much I missed beading until I started making these - having been distracted by so many other crafts over the years.  It was like meeting up with an old dear friend you lost touch with.  Admittedly, one who pokes you with sharp things that make you bleed...

Anyways, I made some puffy bead woven stars for myself, and friends this winter.  I have made about 8, but the majority are going on gifts or given away so far, so I have to make a few more for myself.  There is more pics on my blog and I did a tutorial too if anyone is interested in making them too - but let me know if the instructions need to be more clear, please.

Thanks - I like the grayish one too - I ended up buying another couple of types of gray beads to make a different version of it.  I may just make some to hang permanently on one of the walls in our bedroom as I have a gray and purple colour scheme up there.

They are so pretty. I checked out the tutorial on your blog and will give it a try in the new year. I love beading, been getting itchy fingers to do a project lately too.

You say "scientist or artist?" like they're mutually exclusive.

So beautiful!  Beading has always intimidated me, but your tutorial made it seem totally doable!
