The ManFlesh's first novel comes out in February 2017 and I am having great fun making fan "art" for publicity purposes. An 1870s miracle cure plays an important role in the story, so I designed a label for attaching to bottles of the "medicine" and filled them up!

And a slightly closer look at the labels on the bottles before they were filled and corked.

The crate is a sample of something I might make for some local shops that might sell his book, but aren't bookshops with shelves for such.

That's a really neat and creative way to promote your hubby's work and the labels look super professional/authentic.

I have to ask--what kind of liquid did you put inside the bottles pictured?  Will it cure what ails me?

Great promo idea, and nicely executed!  I take it the name on the crate is the name of the book?  Congratulations!

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Awesome labels! I love the idea of his book being displayed in the crate, too.

Thanks! I worked hard trying to get them realistic looking. I am not a graphic designer or historian for sure.

Well, it might. It's water from our well, which is probably a mountain spring and definitely has some minerals in it with a little bit of Lipton tea made with that same water in there for color.

Thank you! It's part of a bigger project to be shared soon. Wink  That is the name of the book; the more people see the name the better, right?

Awesome labels! I love the idea of his book being displayed in the crate, too.

Thanks! The woman who cuts both of our hair volunteered to sell some in her shop and I want it to be easy to display them and keep them from getting bent up, too. We'll also hit up a few local gift shops and such. Wink The bookstores will have them, too!

Dr. Potter's cure all looks like a sure fire win in my books.  Beautiful job on the labels and the crate!
