Neon Lion Afghan; pattern by Judy Calevro Masell.  Pattern can be found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/neon-lion

Using a 5mm/H hook this piece was crocheted using Red Heart Comfort and Super Saver as well as some Bernat yarn. This afghan measures five feet across and four  feet long.  In the photos, I posted some photos of the back as well as the front so you can get an idea of the many ends that need to be weaved in. (I spent 11 hours just weaving ends!) I also added a finished photo of the back to show that it looks just as lovely on both sides when completed. Pattern can be found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/neon-lion

As always; thanks for viewing!

Although I nergasam all over your other completed works, this is probably one of my favorites. As a knitter (and less than part-time hooker), I super admire your handwork. I love the progress shots and photo before weaving in. The black background is superb.

Yeahhhhhh,  I covet the heck outta this.

I have a set of 80s Halloween cardstock decorations - skeleton,  witch, and ghost - with minor imperfections. PM me if you would like them!

That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen!  And typically I LOVE weaving in ends but ELEVEN HOURS!?!  Even my patience would wear thin with that.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us!

I used sixteen colors in this one, bethntim but it calls for 18.  It is a forgiving pattern as you can see. It also uses 1 skein of each color but 2 of black.

This is so beautiful! And what a test of patience! I'm mortified by the progress shot with the many simultaneously used colors, you have obviously a good method dealing with that, wow!

I am hooked! What a stunning accomplishment. Your talent may only be surpassed by your patience.

Bravo!!

...and I will never ever again complain about the task of weaving in my tail yarn. :-)

Sooooo beautiful!  The color scheme brings me back to my school days, but with such a majestic and serene face to make it feel mature as well... I would feel awfully stylish snuggled up in that!
