Personally I would enjoy sending/receiving holiday cards.  (My only hesitation is my lack of craft skill regarding making cards.  Mine would be blotchy disasters.  Therefore I'd appreciate being able to send storebought cards.  If this isn't possible, I completely understand.)

JS, so many people on Craftster feel the way you do, that they don't think they have the skill or talent to make a particular craft.  Then they finally try it and it's magnificent!  Cheesy

I also think that when we see things made by people who are experts in what they do-for example, onyxnox and kbrison come to mind regarding papercrafted items  Kiss-I know I tend to initially feel that what I do will not be good enough, but then I remember that this is something they've been doing awhile and have a strong affinity towards.

I feel somewhat the way you do though, about papercrafts.  I don't think it's one of my strong points, but I've dove into making ATCs over this past year, and I have to tell you, I've felt more and more confident in my ability each time I make one.

IMHO as well, I think that even adding stickers, a hand-drawn picture, fancy cutting of the material that you are using to make the card, cutting and gluing images....I think that all adds up to CRAFTING a card.

Any other opinions?

yoopidou, I think you should open up the swap anyhow, and we'll work with what we have.  It's a low cost, low stress swap, and perhaps when people see the swap signups, they'll decide to join in!  Cheesy

I haven't popped in here in quite awhile, and I see many changes.  Did this idea become an actual swap?  I looked around but couldn't find it...I would really like to play, but it may be too late  Undecided

I've been avoiding the new swap ideas thread recently because of all the projects I want to finish, some for Christmas, some for my soon-to-arrive grandchild (1/4/17 predicted date), but I'd be happy to join this one. Is it a 'go'?

And LBBB, you are so very sweet to label me as an expert papercrafter. I certainly don't think of myself as being one, just someone who's interested in learning more . . . and more . . . and more! LOL

If anyone wants to start this swap please do so
I still have no computer as the post delivered my new mother board but not to me and the seller has none left to sell
I am using a borrowed computer but some keys do not work like the dot coma and o
I can't even post pictures
This will be resolved but too late for me to take care of this swap

I wonder if this could work for New Year's cards as a Jan. swap?
I've always thought it would be nice to get some snail mail when things
are cold & bleak & the post-holiday letdown has set in.....
