My husband and I are always trying to come up with random pair costumes! We've been Calvin and Hobbes, Doc Brown and Marty McFly, the Keeners from Camp Cariboo...

This year we decided to go back to one of our childhood favourites and do costumes from the Animaniacs! We couldn't decide what pair of costumes to do, but randomly watching clips, for some reason we thought the Wheel of Morality would be hilarious. We decided on Yakko for me, and a sandwich board featuring the Wheel of Morality for him. He was being camera shy, so I couldn't get him to pose for pictures!

The "whiskers" are folded back in this picture, making them look uneven, but nonetheless...

The Wheel is built on top of a lazy susan so it would spin, not sure if this (incredibly short) video will work: https://www.facebook.com/mary.paulusma/videos/vb.642155483/10157641809790484/?type=3&theater

For Yakko, I bought the black shirt, but everything else was homemade. My feet and gloves were reused from my Hobbes costume a few years ago. I bought fleece and made a giant pair of brown pants and the belt, and made the buckle out of fun foam. The head was made from a plastic canvas frame, chair cushion foam, and fleece. I stuffed floral wire in each ear so they were poseable. It was a pretty fun costume but I had absolutely no field of vision! Next year, I think I'll stick with face paint. Smiley
