I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Every year my twins request paired costumes, like last year's Banana Split, and this year was no different. Twin 1 decided she wanted to be a giant ball of yarn and Twin 2 was going as our cat, Chair.

I thought I was being clever by repurposing the round costume that served as the scoop of ice cream in the Banana Split I made last year, but it would have been easier to sew it from scratch. I ended up stuffing it with a zillion plastic bags and hand-sewing the yarn over the ENTIRE thing and it took an eternity.

Never Again:

The cat pattern is from MCCall's 6106 but Joann's only had an adult small available (and I have a dinky kid) so it needed resizing, and it still came out big!

Finally, here is the inspiration for the costumes. She is not impressed.

What a fun costume. The ball of yarn turned out great, and it's nice to see your real kitty approves of the doppelganger. Cheesy
