STEP 2:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER
Please send to rockingbearranch with November ATC Swap - Join" as the subject.

*Name of Swap:  Ongoing ATC Swap - November 2016
*Craftster username:
*Email address:
*Your real name:
*Mailing address including the country (written as it would appear on the envelope):
*Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
*Confirm that are at least 16 years old or, if not, that you have moderator approval(YES/NO):
*Are you a Friend of Craftster?
*What is the exact size of an ATC?
*Do you have access to a camera or scanner so you can post pictures here of what you receive? (if not, you need to tell anyone who claims you, so that they are able to take pictures before sending):
*Are you aware that if an ATC is lost in the mail, you are required to resend?
*Have you read the entire swap information for this swap?
*How soon must you post pictures of the cards you receive? (Hint - It is below in red. And it is roughly half a week.):
*When sending sent/receive notifications to the swap organizer, there are four juicy pieces of information that must be included about each ATC.  What are they?  (Scroll down in the swap info under this questionnaire to the area "Once you have sent or received a card"; the answer is in red.):

CLAIMING
Claims are made throughout the month.  You have two weeks from the time you make a claim to send that claim. Look at the date on the calendar, it is the date that is directly 2 rows down.

You can make as many claims as you want throughout the month as long as you never go over your allowed amount of outstanding claims. An outstanding claim is a card that has not been received; when that card is received your number of outstanding claims goes down.

Claims are made using the following procedure:

Person A (the swap organizer) will begin the swap by posting a list of themes in this swap thread.
Person B will choose a theme from one of A's themes and make a claim by posting his/her own list (see below for formatting of post).
Person C will make a claim on one of B's themes and post his/her own list.
Person D will make a claim on one of C's themes and post his/her own list etc...
This continues through the end of the month, when the swap organizer makes the final claim and closes out the claiming part of the swap.

The number of claims each person is allowed depends on the following criteria:

*Friends of Craftster: 10 claims
*Those who aren't Friends of Craftster: 7 claims
*First time swappers (whether Friends of Craftster or not): 1 claim.  Once the initial claim has been sent, and its new owner has reported it received, the first time swapper is free to make more claims, either 7 or 10 dependent on being an FOC or not.

How to make a claim - A claim post should include the following information:

*The theme you are choosing and who youre sending it to.
*Statistical info about your current swap claims status:
--Claims = Claims currently outstanding (ie., how many not yet received by their new owners.) (This number goes down each time a claim is received, and up each time you make a claim.)
--Sent = anything currently in the mail.
--Received = the cards received by the people you've sent them to.
*Your location.
*Your personal preferences.
*Your list of themes

STEP 3:
After being approved, make a claim like this! You are only claiming the person who was the last to post, for one card. You are allowed to send whatever extras you desire.

2)   Leaves w/ Faces

5)   Your Favorite Medium

STEP 4:
Send a personal message to the person you have claimed and request their address.

STEP 5:
Make the card and mail it. PM the organizer and partner when you send or receive a card.

Be sure and include (1) the "send by" date, as well as (2) the theme and (3)who sent it to (4)whom, in each message to the ATC swap organizer, when you're referring to sent or received ATCs.  That's four juicy pieces of important information that make my life as a swap organizer OH so easy!

I claim rockingbearranch for hand-cut stamp.
Claim--1/ Sent--0/ Received--0

I'm Jessica, living in Indiana for some time now.  For me, glitter goes nicely on most anything!

Some of these themes may be daunting---but, even if you're not sure of your skills, please feel free to try anything on my list, just for a chance to play with something new!  Smiley  I love anything made with sincerity, and to the best of your ability!  Smiley

*Portraits with personality
*Animals with personality
*Inanimate objects with personality (like, eyes on a toaster, smile on a heart, scissors that are angry)
*"Oy! My head is too big for my body!" (Doesn't have to have the phrase---just illustrate it.)
*People or animals wearing fruit, or fruit themed clothing, or fruit themed anything involving people or animals.
*Still life---with something unexpected hidden in it.
*People at Carnival/People in Masks
*Mythology
*Cute Halloween
*Cute Halloween costumes
*Ghosties
*People with antlers
*Fantasy people
*Realistic fish--particularly trout, or those fish that you would find in Utah's Fish Lake
*Elaborate costumes (People, animals)
*Elves
*Whimsical people
*Grandfather Frost/Sneguruchka/snow kings, queens
*Mermaids
*Nudes---sexual or not, any sexual orientation
*Big eyed adorable cute things
*Googly eyed things.
*Goddesses.
*Illustration of the phrase "twisting midnight" (your interpretation)
*Purple people eater.
*Shoes with fuzzy things in them.
*Gingerbread men.
*Fairy tales.
*Your favorite swear word (But, make it cool---not just, you know, pencil written swear word on a white card.  That would suck! lol)
*Frogs.
*Cartoon-y things.
*Easter (but not religious, please)
*Steampunk.
*Cupcakes.
*Gloriously rotund and cute fairies.
*Cute penguins.
*ABCs you *wouldn't* find in a children's book (eg., "F for Fornication", "R for Robbery", "S for Spooning")  Please make sure these are portrait orientation.   LETTERS I NEED: E, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, O, U, V, W, Z.
*Cartoony Christmas, especially featuring candy canes!
*Clue characters: I need Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard, Mr. Green, Mrs Peacock, Miss Scarlet, Mrs White.  Add a background room from the game, and a weapon from the game.  Your choice.  Smiley
*Scribble drawings:  Start from a scribble, and find something interesting!  (Be sure and finish the card off---feel free to erase any scribbles you don't use!)
(Random example of a scribble card, started with a scribble, ending in a weird little dude:)
*Thumbelina.
*Mushroom houses.
*Things living in shoes.

My tastes in "gore" are very particular, so I prefer to not receive any unless I know what it looks like beforehand and I know I like it. Wink (I have a phobia of zombies, especially. Smiley )

I claim rockingbearranch for alternative Santa.

1st, 0,0

Hey all, and Happy November. REALLY???  what is happy about this dreary month?

I live in Southern VT, usa, with two and a half kitties and seven kittens in the guest bedroom , returning to the shelter in about a week.
oh, and two mice.
And chickadees that eat out of my hand.
And bears that steal the chickadee's food
And coyotes who yip and howl just over the fence.
and a large toad in the house foundation (see avatar.)

And her buns.

so.
i do not wish nudity, sexuality, politics, or religion.

I DO WISH.....

uber 3D

kittens

wildcats any kind

fruit on a tree

unlikely greeting card

your favorite ATC theme of all time

"how long to I have to wait til spring?"

funny funny funny typos

ways you have of not forgetting things

turquoise color

combo of white, red, and turquoise

odd thing to find at the end of the rainbow.

thanks!!!
