Ive been busy. Anyone getting tired of my gelli craze yet?
I found a way to make my paints softer with out fabric medium and refined my printing a bit to get more hoops out of each print. So all my experimenting is working out in my favor for once lol. So much that i am trying to start up my shop and get a stand at a local art/craft fair (yay!)

An overall shot because this photo makes me happy.

They turned out great.  I loved experimenting with fabric on mine - I used unbleached cotton, and I just pulled some out from one of the piles in my craft room.  You don't need to use fabric medium unless you want to be able to wash and wear them BTW, like on clothing or patches.  You could use any other retarder/extender/or blending medium for acrylic instead, especially if the fabric medium is pricier (as the Golden one is).

The choice of colors and patterns really sets off the embroidery. I love stuff like this, so creative.

Wow.  This makes me want to come over and have a gelli printing party with you! Too bad we live so far away from each other. Smiley

thought - have you sent pics these to the gelli arts site - wonder if they would be interested in featuring these or making a tute of your mash-up?
