I'm in charge of the Elementary School Halloween Carnival (again) and last year made all the games (Operation was one of them).  So we wanted to make a new game for this year and plus my daughter wanted a Hamster themed birthday party so we went with it.  Randomly found a carnival game online called hamster rumble and thought it was so fun.  But we had to take it a step further and instead of the hamsters just falling in potholes, we made them funny hazards.

Hubby made the board for me and then I painted it.

Shrinky Dink back numbers corresponded to little paddle numbers so kids can't fight about numbers.

Ended up hating the yellow and went for white.  Better, so started painting the hazards.

Hamster Balls roll around the game board and last one standing is the winner.  Hazards are aliens, poisons, Fluffy the kitty, radioactive spider, black hole, road kill, toilet bowl, and mousetrap.

Was a hit! After last year being so deserted we were swamped this year, so either I did better about advertising or word got around about our awesome games.  I wasn't part of the final total, but heard in passing that it was our best carnival yet.

All we have to decide is what to craft with the time given to us.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
