I got to have a beach weekend with a couple of my besties a couple weeks ago! It's chilly on the Oregon Coast in September, after all.

I used a pattern I found on pinterest years ago. I found a scale print flannel for the exterior and a watery looking flannel for the inside.

I was trying to make them a surprise and even with measurements from my gals, one pair ended up being too small.  Cry  So, I'll be making another pair and mailing them to my dear one after I pick more material.

Here are the pattern and tutorial: http://www.instructables.com/id/The-Elle-Tie-On-Slippers/

I love these. The pugs are obviously sad that the slippers didn't fit.  Cheesy

The pattern is quite easy and they're nice for when you just need a little something between your tootsies and the floor. I plan to make more pairs!

Now I need to find an even wee-er, tinier person to have the oopsie pair!
