I bought a new earring rack recently, so I need a bag to store it in and that would also be good for carrying it around.

(I also made the earrings. They are polymer clay, they represent the berries that grow in the part of Alaska that I am from. There are other berries, but ones visible in the photo are blueberry and salmon berry (as we call them here, but they are also known as cloud berries), they might be hard to see but there are cranberries peeking out from the bottom left behind the blueberries.)

I stitched the outside of the seams to give it a little more structure, I also cut and put some bamboo skewers between the lining and outer fabrics on the top of the bag so that the sides of the bag would keep a square shape and not flop together when it is being carried, and I put a thin 1/8 in piece of plywood in the bottom of the bag to keep it from sagging when it is lifted. I could have painted the wood black to match the inside of the bag, but since it won't be seen much, I probably won't Roll Eyes

Clever idea with the bag. I like the idea of a little extra support at the bottom. Great job on the earrings too.
