I have recently received an item from a monthly subscription box called Loot For Her. This month was themed Harley Quinn, so they sent a Harley Quinn themed circle skirt. Since I'm not too into skirts, I was thinking that they would make a cute pair of shorts! The problem is that I'm not that experienced in DIYs and I'd mess up the whole project if I tried to make it without any guidance. I was hoping if some experienced crafters can help me out Grin . The length of the skirt is approximately 15 inches long if that helps! Thank you!

i'm glad you said it was a circle skirt, otherwise i would worry that there wasn't enough fabric to turn it into shorts.
your question is very open-ended, though. what specifically do you need help with?

first you'll need a pattern of some kind. that could be store-bought, looked up on pinterest, or traced from a pair of shorts you own & like. keep in mind it's important to know if your pattern was designed for woven or knit fabric. if your skirt is the opposite kind of fabric, you will need to make adjustments.

if you're not used to sewing, i would definitely recommend an elastic waist, rather than a zip/fly front.
pinterest has plenty of tutorials to help you with construction, or you're welcome to post back here if you have more specific questions.
