I attended a course led by Per Helldorff, where we got a very rough kit to make an "applause machine" out of, using whittling knives and saws and drills.



It's a pretty fun contraption, but I haven't treated it yet, so when it's super high moisture in the air, it swells shut and won't move. Smiley

That's pretty swank!  I expected the arms to move, so, whilst watching the video, I was surprised to see that the head and interior of the mouth do so as well; pretty impressive.  This is the kind of thing I would picture Leonardo da Vinci cobbling together for the fun of it.
