I made a miniature Iron Throne for a friend to give her husband for his birthday later this month. It measures around 7 inches tall and would fit the dollhouse 1:12 scale. Made entirely out of foam and plastic.

this is so EPIC! How did you do this? I know you said foam and plastic but how in the world do that turn into this?! He is going to love this.

Fantastic job! I really love the details with how it's shaded/painted.

SO WONDERFUL! I once needed 4 cocktail swords for a project, but had to buy a box of 1000. Now I know what the average person/superior crafter could do with a box of 1000 cocktail swords!

It is amazing you made plastic and foam look like metal.  Kudos to you; this rocks!

I've never seen Game of Thrones, but I saw the Throne of Games on King of the Nerds...

really nice piece.  Great use for cocktail swords.  I not only save every one I get, I steal them off friends' plates, too.  And those on the plates of strangers are in danger.

Did you know there are several styles of cocktail sword?  I think I have 5 or 6 different ones.

Um, I do dollhouse-size miniatures, so I have an actual NEED for swords.  I must have used 3 or 4 of them in the 20 years I've been hoarding.

Never watched the show, or read the books, but I'm familiar with that throne design from photos I've seen online.  You did an awesome job on your rendition (great paint and detail), although I have to wonder how uncomfortable it would be to actually sit in a chair made out of hundreds of blades--ouch!
