He has the cutest face! I am always curious as to how people can get needle-felted items so smooth, mine always have fly-away wool everywhere. How is that done?

Thank you all for your compliments! I will try to post more creations.

I used 36 gauge felting needle for the core head and body. It took me about 30 minutes of felting to harden the core.  Once it is hardened, there will be big holes so I will felt another layer to smoothen the body and head. I will use 40 gauge felting needle which is usually for fine details. If there are fly-away wool, try to felt around the area gently so that the wool is stabbed in and does not leave holes or make the items out of shape.
