Howdy, Craftsters!

Been away from this community for TOO LONG  Cry glad to be back! Seeing as how I just got engaged a month ago, and I am DIY-ing as much as I can for our October 2017 wedding, you will probably be seeing a lot more of me in the coming months, especially on this board  Grin

HERE ARE MY FIRST WEDDING CRAFTS: GIFTS FOR THE RING BEARER AND FLOWER GIRLS! Made in our wedding colors/style because I am OCD like that!

They are for my future hubby's nephew and nieces. Though we are not doing any bridesmaids or groomsmen, we really want to include the kids in some way, so we are asking them to be our RB and FGs. I will present them these gifts when we ask them next week (already have their mom's blessing  Wink )

Here's the whole kit and caboodle Smiley

Flower girls will each receive a simple bouquet in a gift bag; figured they can display these in their room, and every time they see the flowers, they will get excited and think of the wedding!

He will get this mysterious gift box

...when he opens it, it will be filled with RING POPS

And then the message inside the lid will ask him to be our ring bearer!!!

Welp, that's it for today's post! Thank you so much for looking; feel free to comment with any questions or feedback: I got all the supplies at Dollar Tree, and it was very easy and affordable to make these (all done in one session of less than 2 hours, and for about $15 total)

I am so excited for the wedding; we still have over a year, but I am so obsessed with getting my crafting started Smiley

Make it, thrift it, mend it, or make-do without it!

That's a lovely way to invite your ring bearer and flower girls. I'm sure they will be so excited. Congratulations on your engagement and looking forward to seeing all your preparations here.

Cool idea and a great way to make the youngsters feel special!  I particularly liked the inclusion of the ring pops, as that's a fun nod to the actual act of bearing the ring at a wedding.

Adorable way of asking!

I'm also doing a October 2017 wedding, so hopefully once I start making things you'll see me on here too! When's your date? Mine is Oct 21, 2017.

(Hm... maybe I'll go try to revive The Crafty Wedding Craftalong)
