Looking for a free pattern for a trench coat to fit a 6 to 8 inch doll. I have a friend trying to help, but I figured I'd play it safe and ask around to see what I find. The doll I'm making is an amigurumi likeness of Nightcrawler as he appears in X2, but with the longer hair.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

What shape is your Nightcrawler? Tall and thin, with long arms? You want a removable coat vs. a coat that is part of the body design, correct? Have you considered using felt instead?
