I participated in the last round of the monster swap. I stitched these for my wonderful partner aisy.

I found a coloring book page on pinterest and free handed it for the hoop. I honestly haven't seen the show in years so i can't say how recognizable they are. I wanted to keep it to the black/ white of the show, which i actually had a really hard time with. I love color!

Next up is a dragon pillow, this was tough. I am not a fan of varigated thread. I couldn't get the colors to line up where i wanted them.  Undecided
I ended up going through three skeins just to get the right color combos in the right order.

Overall though im really happy with how they ended up. I hope my partner liked them.

Cc welcome!! Im trying to improve since I'm still new to embroidery!

Would love a personal swap! Send me a Pm Smiley I am always up for a personal hoopla, felt badge, or magnet swap!

I recognized the Munsters right away - no explanation needed.

And the dragons - love the shape and movement and the variegated thread!

I completely agree with Smmarrt! And the small details/extra effort really play well.

You may be new to embroidery, but it doesn't show. And I love you stuck to B&W to keep the spirit of the show.

Great job on both the Munsters hoopla and the rainbow-hued dragon pillowcase (love the intertwined heart shape they make)!

I prefer the Munsters in black & white myself; when they all had green skin in the colored versions, I always found that off-putting, because while green is okay for Frankenstein's Monster (Herman), it doesn't look right to me on vampires (Lily and Grandpa) or werewolves (Eddie).

What a lucky partner to get such a cool Munsters hoop. I love the dragon too. I agree that variegated threads aren't all they're cracked up to be.
