I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Looking amazing, always! Block #4 is so pretty and I can't wait to get there. Thanks for the progress shots; they are motivating me to squeeze in time during the day to do a block or two.

Yes, thank you bethntim for suggesting the pattern. I hope craftADDchick joins along.  Wink

I spent HOURS on Ravelry last night pinning color schemes!  I absolutely loved one that used greys, yellows, and creams...omg...I am so ordering yarn for that...hubby loves that the flowers are 3-D...almost everything I have every crocheted was flat...I am also learning so many stitches, like spike and popcorn...I LOVE this craftalong...I think we can stretch it out for a long while, so others can join us!!!

there was a color scheme that had soft pinks and creams that I fell end over heels in love with. this craft along may have to go on for a while because my house flooded, ruined all our floors and bathroom cabinets and now we're having to renovate. so I had to pack up all my crafting supplies and store them til this is over.

but! have no fear, my crafting supplies are the first thing in storage so as soon as this house is back together I'll be slinging hooks and yarn again!

Yikes, bethntim! That totally, totally sucks! I live in a place where natural disasters are less likely (hoping I didn't just jinx myself) except for Nor'easters, hurricanes (a few tornadoes, but rare). Right now, it's a drought. But that's better than a flood!

I think that, once I get my craft room sorted out, I can go through my yarn stash and see if I can do it from stash. Or from stash with minimal yarn buying. That means it will be done in acrylic, but I can live with that Smiley and, definitely a shawl, done in colors that will look nice against a black dress.

Having been flooded many times. I feel your pain, bethntim!  What a nightmare mess!  We have most of our furniture and stuff on risers in our basement even though the next 100 year flood should be in 2104!

Hope you get your stuff settled soon!

craftADDchick..a shawl...hmmm...I like that idea!
