Awesome job!  Most of these that I've seen are done in Altoid tins, so, it's nice to see a circular-shaped one for a change, as that's a more natural form for a body of water.  Did you paint the interior of the bowl with that mottled green effect, or was it already like that?  Either way, it really captures the look of pond plants and algae.

To be honest the mottled look was a bit of a mistake that worked. I was really impatient to pour the resin on and the green acrylic paint wasnt quite dry.  I scuffed it a bit by pushing the stones around the tin.  I went on to make a couple of tiny ponds using the indent bit on the bottom of a couple of beer cans.  They didn't work quite so well as the resin isn't the clear variety and has a pink tinge.  It would have been better if I had painted the bottoms with the green acrylic but heck... I am very new to this so have a lot to learn.

Thank you.  I have ordered some water clear resin and hope I can make a tiny pond in a teaspoon.  I will turn it into a pendant necklace if it works.

Very cute, love the green shimmer effect - originally, with the spoon beside the bowl shape, I thought you were posting a soup!  What did you use as the base for the first one?

I used an empty airgun pellet tin.  Both my hubby and son are members of a gun club and other members keep the tins for me too.
