The journal I made is bursting at the seams. It doesn't lie flat but I think it contributes to the junky feel of it Smiley. What's silly is that I originally redid the cover to have a smaller spine so it didn't look so empty!! I should have stuck with plan A. Oh well! It's sent off now!! I hope geekgirl likes it Smiley.

Woohoo!  So excited.  My "done" pile of pages is gradually getting taller than my "needs work" pile. Grin

I am almost done - I have done pages with pockets, tags, and whatnot, so my book is getting a bit bulky.

My first attempt wouldn't shut Roll Eyes I am trying to back off on 3D embellishments and the bulkiness of ribbons on my tags for the second attempt.

Mine technically shuts Smiley

If you squish it down.

But if you use the pockets and envelopes - well, "shut" becomes more of a concept, than an actuality.

Hehehe. I will keep this in mind as I repack the pages of my second attempt Smiley (Fuller means more fun, right?)

My junk journal is progressing!  I'm actually starting to pull it all together and it's mostly coming together sort of as planned.   Wink

Just bound up my signatures!  I'm really pleased with how it is looking.  I just have to decorate the cover and decide on a closure.  Still contemplating which direction to take on those.

My friend borrowed all three bins of my scrap booking materials to make a little book for her nephews' vacation so I'm hoping I'll get those back soon otherwise this book will be very bare :X Or, ya know, just buy some more paper and stickers cuz one can never have enough  Grin
