So, I use the term shibori loosely since I don't know if these are exactly folded with proper shibori techniques... But they are folded and then dyed, and then I finish the felting.  I start with pre felt fabric, often merino silk blend.

Here they are folded and stitched or tied in place:

And here are the finished scarves!

Thanks for looking!

Cool patterns; I like the green one as it suggests a leaf (and the way you've got it wrapped around the model's neck only reinforces that impression further for me).

I agree with Patraw about the leafy look of the green one. They are all so fantastic, but I have this sudden urge to go wrap myself in leaves. Wink It's neat to see the "before" pictures, too. I'm not familiar enough with "shibori" to know what is or isn't. Perhaps I should go learn now Tongue

Cheesy I'm glad to hear they are inspiring leaf diving expeditions! And learning Smiley  I only know basic concepts of shibori, it's like refined tie die. (if I dare say that..... Wink  )

They are divine! I'd love to squish them (just a little).  Cheesy
