STEP 2:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER
Please send to rockingbearranch with June ATC Swap--Join" as the subject.

*Name of Swap:  Ongoing ATC Swap - June 2016
*Craftster username:
*Email address:
*Your real name:
*Mailing address including the country (written as it would appear on the envelope):
*Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
*Confirm that are at least 16 years old or, if not, that you have moderator approval(YES/NO):
*Are you a Friend of Craftster?
*What is the exact size of an ATC?
*Do you have access to a camera or scanner so you can post pictures here of what you receive? (if not, you need to tell anyone who claims you, so that they are able to take pictures before sending):
*Are you aware that if an ATC is lost in the mail, you are required to resend?
*Have you read the entire swap information for this swap?
*How soon must you post pictures of the cards you receive? (Hint - It is below in red. And it is roughly half a week.):
*When sending sent/receive notifications to the swap organizer, there are four juicy pieces of information that must be included about each ATC.  What are they?  (Scroll down in the swap info under this questionnaire to the area "Once you have sent or received a card"; the answer is in red.):

CLAIMING
Claims are made throughout the month.  You have two weeks from the time you make a claim to send that claim. Look at the date on the calendar, it is the date that is directly 2 rows down.

You can make as many claims as you want throughout the month as long as you never go over your allowed amount of outstanding claims. An outstanding claim is a card that has not been received; when that card is received your number of outstanding claims goes down.

Claims are made using the following procedure:

Person A (the swap organizer) will begin the swap by posting a list of themes in this swap thread.
Person B will choose a theme from one of A's themes and make a claim by posting his/her own list (see below for formatting of post).
Person C will make a claim on one of B's themes and post his/her own list.
Person D will make a claim on one of C's themes and post his/her own list etc...
This continues through the end of the month, when the swap organizer makes the final claim and closes out the claiming part of the swap.

The number of claims each person is allowed depends on the following criteria:

*Friends of Craftster: 10 claims
*Those who aren't Friends of Craftster: 7 claims
*First time swappers (whether Friends of Craftster or not): 1 claim.  Once the initial claim has been sent, and its new owner has reported it received, the first time swapper is free to make more claims, either 7 or 10 dependent on being an FOC or not.

How to make a claim - A claim post should include the following information:

*The theme you are choosing and who youre sending it to.
*Statistical info about your current swap claims status:
--Claims = Claims currently outstanding (ie., how many not yet received by their new owners.) (This number goes down each time a claim is received, and up each time you make a claim.)
--Sent = anything currently in the mail.
--Received = the cards received by the people you've sent them to.
*Your location.
*Your personal preferences.
*Your list of themes

STEP 3:
After being approved, make a claim like this! You are only claiming the person who was the last to post, for one card. You are allowed to send whatever extras you desire.

SAMPLE CLAIMS POST
Quote

My themes are:
1)   Giving Thanks
2)   Leaves w/ Faces
3)   Naughty Spoons
4)   Inspiring Quotes
5)   Your Favorite Medium

STEP 4:
Send a personal message to the person you have claimed and request their address.

STEP 5:
Make the card and mail it. PM the organizer and partner when you send or receive a card.

Be sure and include (1) the "send by" date, as well as (2) the theme and (3)who sent it to (4)whom, in each message to the ATC swap organizer, when you're referring to sent or received ATCs.  That's four juicy pieces of important information that make my life as a swap organizer OH so easy!

Posting pictures of received ATCs is required for this swap. Please post pictures within 3 days.

The Gallery is here!

FEEDBACK
Positive feedback will be given when all of the cards you sent have been received and you have posted pictures of the cards you received. If you are stuck without a space for a swap and are biting your nails waiting, just let me know and I will release you asap.

I claim rockingbearranch for "artist's choice" (I will do one of your listed themes; I just like to change my mind a hundred times before I settle on one!)

1 Claim | 0 Sent | 0 Received

I live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, so far North, I might as well be an honorary Canadian.  Other than fairly frequent rain storms, the weather here has been very nice and all of the local plants are lush and green, with many of the flowers and trees in, or starting to, bloom.

I love video games, toys (both "boys" and "girls" varieties), mythology (all cultures/religions), monsters, the Sword & Sorcery (particularly Dungeons & Dragons) and Horror genres, comic books/strips, animals (especially kitties), nature, and women.  Nudity, violence, sex, gore, profanity, religion, politics, etc., don't bother me in the context of art, so, please don't worry that you're going to offend me when you express yourself.   Over-sized or thick/3-Dimensional ATCs are fine, as I don't own, or keep them in, a card album anyway.  I don't have any allergies that would come into play with an ATC, so feel free to use whatever materials you like.  Provided that you adhere to the spirit/intent of whichever of my themes that you choose, it doesn't matter to me what artistic style/approach/media you utilize.

My themes (in no particular order of preference).  Feel free to combine multiple themes into one card too, if you like.

- TLC (the musical group) members [T-Boz, Left Eye (deceased), and Chilli].
- An ATC that's also some kind of art project for me to do.
- Carnivorous plants.
- Stephen Kings Dark Tower characters.
- Tiny Polly Pocket finds an interesting new place to live.
- Feline mermaid.
- A particularly memorable dream/nightmare that you've had (recently, or years ago, it doesn't matter)
- The Loch Ness Monster needs about $3.50.
- My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (G4) Rainbow Dash (pegasus or humanoid Equestria Girls forms are both okay).
- Betty & Veronica.
- Lalaloopsy doll characters.
- The BFG (Big Friendly Giant).
- A paper doll (preferably a girl/woman or an animal, but it's up to you).
- Medusa (the mythical Greek monster, not jellyfish!)
- Doll house interior (a single room is fine, but you can do an entire house if you want to).
- A functional ATC board game (feel free to invent your own game if you don't want to replicate an existing one).
- Toys in humorous/inappropriate situations.
- Artist's choice--surprise me!
