I recently finished these sunshine coasters in cotton yarn. They were super quick and such a cute gift!

They were from this pattern:

and I used the cotton dishcloth that Hobby Lobby just came out with.

They are so cute!  I'm assuming they are knitted?

Very cool! And looks pretty simple, yes? I may have to try these as I am now on my crocheting kick! Smiley

No. I am practicing my knitting lately but my native language is crochet. These were worked up on that new dishcloth cotton at Hobby Lobby with an F hook.

Padester they were SUPER simple pattern. You just make a circle and then at the end you chain a bit and then single/half-double/double crochet your way back on down that little chain to form the points. The small hook made them take a minute but it made it more detailed and hopefully will make them more functional as a table-saving device. LOL I thought of adding a little felt on the bottom to double up the protection but I never made it to that step.

Wonderful little coasters, they'd be just the thing to bring a little sunshine into your life when you sit down at the table for breakfast!  I bet that pattern/design would make great flowers too.
